By Road
From the South (via M1/M6/M5 from Birmingham/London)
Travel north along the M6, and turn off at Junction 10A (M54). Head towards Telford. Leave the M54 at Junction 3 and follow the A41 north towards Whitchurch. Continue north along the A41 until the start of the A41 Newport Bypass. Lilleshall National Sports Centre is signposted left off this road, south of Newport. Proceed along this road for about 1 mile. The Centre entrance is signposted left (the turning is quite sharp). Follow the target signs until you arrive at the archery field.
From the East (via Derby)
From the Derby ring road, follow signs for the A50 to Uttoxeter. When you reach Uttoxeter take the A518 towards Stafford and then on to Newport. At the roundabout junction with the A41 (Newport Bypass), turn left following the signs for Wolverhampton and Telford. At the next roundabout turn right (signposted A518 Telford). Follow this road to the next roundabout and then turn left. The entrance to Lilleshall is approximately ½ mile along this road on your right.
From the North (via M6)
Leave the M6 motorway at Junction 15. Take the A519 signposted towards Eccleshall and follow this road through Eccleshall itself, then continue following signposts for Newport. At the roundabout junction with the A41 (Newport Bypass), turn left following signs for Wolverhampton and Stafford. At the second roundabout turn right (signposted A518 Telford). Follow this road to the next roundabout and then turn left. The entrance to Lilleshall is approximately ½ mile along this road on your right.
From the North (via A41)
The A41 trunk road bypasses Newport and Lilleshall National Sports Centre. Follow the bypass around Newport until you reach a roundabout where A518 Telford is signposted off to your right. At this roundabout turn right (signposted A518 Telford). Follow this road to the next roundabout and then turn left. The entrance to Lilleshall NSC is approximately ½ mile along this road on your right.
From the West (via Shrewsbury/M54)
From Shrewsbury, follow the A5/M54 motorway towards Telford. Leave the motorway at Junction 6 and take the first exit at the roundabout interchange. Go over the small roundabout and at the large roundabout at the bottom of the hill take the second exit, signposted towards Hadley. Continue along this road until you reach another roundabout. At this roundabout turn right. Continue through Hadley until you reach the roundabout junction with the A442 Queensway. Turn left and continue on the road, which goes under a bridge and immediately joins another roundabout at the other side. Take the last exit from this roundabout (signposted A518 Stafford and Newport). Follow this road out of Telford continuing along the A518 towards Newport and Stafford. Go straight over the roundabout where there is a pub called The Red House (on the opposite left corner). Continue straight across the next island and at the following roundabout turn right onto Pave Lane. The entrance to Lilleshall NSC is approximately ½ mile along this road on the right.
By Train
The nearest railway station is Oakengates in Telford. It is well-connected, with trains running regularly to and from Wolverhampton.
By Coach
The nearest National Express coach stop is Telford town centre bus station.
By Air
The nearest airport is Birmingham. From there, you can get to Telford by train or coach (see above for details) or follow directions from the South to get directly to Lilleshall by car.
